Current Situation of,Dilemma in and Measures for the Cultivation of Top-notch Innovative Talents in Honors Schools:from the Perspective of the Training Models Developed by 15 Honors Schools in Jiangsu
The Honors College educational model,originating from the Anglo-American elite higher education philosophy,aims to cultivate innovative talents at the undergraduate level.In China,this model has achieved significant results in the field of education.Research on the Honors Colleges of 15 universities in Jiangsu Province reveals challenges such as the rigidity of talent cultivation models,insufficient resource investment,conflicts between employment pressures and educational goals,and the new impact of the pandemic on education.To address these issues,the paper recommends a whole package of systemic innovation,resource sharing and intercollegiate cooperation to promote the continuous improvement of the Honors College educational model throughout the country.
