Rural Growth Experience and Household Commercial Insurance Purchase Behavior
This paper uses data from the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)to study the impact of rural growth experi-ences on household commercial insurance purchasing behavior. The results indicate that rural growth experiences signifi-cantly increase the commercial insurance purchasing behavior of urban households, and this effect is more pronounced a-mong low socio-economic status groups.Mechanism analysis reveals that rural growth experiences increase the risk aver-sion awareness of urban residents, shape their conservative and low openness personality, and weaken closely related social networks, thereby increasing their household commercial insurance purchasing behavior.
