Geographical Structure of Financial Supply,Availability of Credit Resources, and Corporate Green Innovation
Based on the perspective of financial supply geographic structure, this paper uses the geographic information of listed enterprises and bank branches to measure the clustering degree of bank branches around enterprises, and empiri-cally discusses the influence of the spatial evolution of banking industry on corporate green innovation and its mechanism. The results show that the spatial agglomeration of banks has dual effects of"incremental"and"quality"on corporate green innovation, which is mainly achieved through the improvement of credit resource availability and green investment inten-tion.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the spatial agglomeration of banking has a stronger promoting effect on the green innovation of state-owned enterprises, corporate with better environmental information disclosure mechanism, enterprises in non-heavy polluting industries, and enterprises in regions with better environmental protection awareness.
