[Objective]Camel milk in Xinjiang is abundant and has a wide range of application value,and its lactation performance is an important economic trait.Compared with other milks,camel milk is a dairy product with high nutritional value,which plays an important role in human health,disease prevention and treatment.[Methods]This paper mainly introduces the nutritional composition,nutritional value and biological efficacy of camel milk,and analyses the application of camel milk in disease prevention,revealing the problems existing in the development of camel milk products.[Results]In view of the problems,the solutions of formulating the breeding standards of excellent varieties,deepening the research on the health care function of camel milk,and standardizing the production of camel milk enterprises were proposed.[Conclusion]The aim of this study is to provide a reference for the development and utilization of camel milk functional food.
