[Objective]To objectively evaluate the production performance of three strains of Trifolium pratense(HSY6,HSY11,HSY12)and to provide basic data for their demonstration, promotion, and variety approval.[Methods]Three Trifolium pratense strains(HSY6,HSY11,HSY12)selected and bred by Xinjiang Agricultural University were used as materials in the experiment, and Mengnong No.1(Trifolium pratense L.cv.Mengnong No.1)was used as the control(CK),and their production performance was comprehensively evaluated by observing the indexes of fertility period, plant height,dry-to-fresh ratio,stem-to-leaf ratio, fresh herbage yield and dry herbage yield.[Results]There was no difference in the phenological period of the four materials;the average plant height of HSY12 was the highest(70.52 cm),followed by CK(68.87 cm),and HSY6 was the lowest(64.77 cm);the dry-to-fresh ratio of HSY11 was the highest(20.16%),which was 1.03 times that of the control;the stem-to-leaf ratio of HSY6 was the highest(0.9427),followed by HSY11(0.8834),1.17 and 1.05 times of the control, respectively;the annual(three-crop)fresh grass yield of HSY11 was the highest(130.70 t/hm2),and CK was the second highest(120.93 t/hm2),the annual(three-crop)dry yield of HSY11 was the highest(26.80 t/hm2),and CK was the second highest(23.30t/hm2).[Conclusion]HSY11 is more suitable to be used as fresh grass and hay than the other three materials.
