[Objective]In order to effectively promote the transformation and upgrading of grassland animal husbandry,it is necessary to guide grassland animal husbandry to a civilized development road marked by ecological priority,continuous progress of production,improvement of people's living standards and social harmony.[Methods]Based on the current situation of grassland construction and protection in Xinyuan County,the problems existing in the transformation and upgrading of grassland animal husbandry in Xinyuan County were summarized by the method of literature review and working practice,and a pathway was proposed,which was strengthening grassland protection and restoration in the new period to ensure the safe development of grassland ecology.[Results]At this stage,significant results have been achieved in the work of grassland ecological protection,restoration,and management in Xinyuan County,but there are still problems such as low industrialization of forage and insufficient influence of product brands. Through measures such as determining livestock based on grass,improving the balance standard of grass and livestock,optimizing the structure of the herd,and reasonably controlling the number of livestock,it can provide guarantees for the transformation of grassland animal husbandry.[Conclusion]Comprehensively improving the quality and efficiency of grassland animal industry,and giving play to the comprehensive,systematic and long-term nature of ecological restoration,governance and construction,hoping to provide a reference for the transformation and upgrading of grassland animal husbandry.
