Analysis of Nutritional Components of Three Wild Forage Grasses in Different Growth Stages in Xinjiang
[Objective]In order to study the relationship between the nutritional components of three kinds of wild forage grasses and its growth period and forage species, and to provide theoretical basis for the development of animal husbandry in Xinjiang as well as feed mix.[Methods]Taking the Kochia prostrate,Serphidium transiliense and Alhagi sparsifolia as research objects, the nutritional stage, initial flowering stage, full flowering stage, fruiting stage and fruit ripening stage of three kinds of wild forages were dynamically monitored, sampled and analyzed for three consecutive years(from 2021 to 2023).[Results]The results showed as follows:There were significant differences in the CP contents of the three forage grasses at the same growth stage(P<0.05),and significant difference was observed in the CP contents from nutrient stage to fruit ripening stage under the same forage species level(P<0.05);The crude fat content was negatively correlated with pasture maturity,EEAlhagi sparsifolia>EEKochia prostrate>EESerphidium transiliense; There were significant differences in the contents of CF,NDF and ADF in different growth stages and under different forage species levels(P<0.05);With the advancement of growth period,TP content decreased, and Ca content of Kochia prostrate and Alhagi sparsifolia was relatively higher in the full flowering stage, that of Serphidium transiliense was relatively higher in the nutritional stage.[Conclusion]Growth period and forage species were important factors affecting the contents of CP,CF,NDF,ADF,EE,TP and Ca in forage grasses.
