Investigation and Analysis on Urban Commercial Street Space Based on PSPL Method:A Case of Jinan Quancheng Road
Urban street space is an important part of the city.It not only plays an important role in traffic,and its spatial quality will also affect the intuitive feelings of pedestrians.Taking Quancheng Road,a typical urban commercial street in Jinan,as an example,this paper makes an objective evaluation on the street space based on people's perception and needs through spatial perception,PSPL method,field investigation,interviews and other research methods.Through investigation,it further learns about the behavioral characteristics of pedestrians in the street space,and analyzes the current problems of weak security and low comfort in the space of Quancheng Road at the present stage,so as to put forward spatial optimization strategies such as staggering parking and adjusting seats for different spatial problems.
