Research on Urban Design of Urban Villages from the Perspective of Community Space:A Case of CBD Fossil Camp
The rapid development and expansion of cities have led to urban villages becoming their last fortresses.In the transformation of urban villages,problems,such as narrow roads,backward facilities,complicated personnel,and chaotic appearance,were also exposed.At the same time,the COVID-19 epidemic has made a huge impact on the social and economic environment and people's way of life.Under this background,the transformation of urban villages will be even more difficult.How to deal with the challenges in the transformation of urban village and incorporate thinking about new spaces in the post-epidemic era is very important for a community and even a city.This paper selects Beijing CBD Fossil Camp community as the research area,adopts questionnaire survey and data analysis methods,analyzes the function of the plot and the population category and behavioral willingness of residents,and determines the direction and contents for the transformation.Finally,the transformation plan is formulated through the method of intelligent modular intervention in the community,and as a pilot project,it arouses the reflection on the transformation of urban villages throughout the country.
