The Structural Model Design of Long-Span Bridges in College Students'Structural Design Contest
Taking the second prize works of the 14th National College Students'Structural Design Contest of Dongguan University of Technology as an example,combined with the requirements of the contest"the design and production of variable parameter bridge structure model",referring to the common bridge structure forms in engineering,the preliminary design of the long-span bridge structure model is completed.Then with Midas/Civil modeling calculation,the rod force and deformation of model structure is calculated and analyzed,and the bearing capacity of the model structure is checked and calculated.Based on the calculation results,the design of the model structure is optimized to ensure that while meeting the requirements of the strength,stiffness and stability of the structure,the load ratio of the model is also improved.Finally,the simulation results are verified by loading test,which provides a reference for the design optimization of long-span bridges in practical engineering.
