Study on Wind Load Characteristics of Corridor High-Rise Buildings Based on Wind Tunnel Test
Wind load is an important aspect for all kinds of engineering structures, and it is an indispensable part in the design and calculation of corridor buildings. In this paper, the wind tunnel experiment of the wind pressure of corridor-type high-rise building was conducted with the high-precision electronic pressure scanning system, and the wind load characteristics of this kind of building were obtained. The experimental results show that under the action of wind load, the average wind pressure distribution of corridor building is different from that of conventional buildings.Affected by the connected high-rise buildings, the corridor area is more prone to show a concentrated area of wind pressure distribution and a larger extreme value of wind pressure.Meanwhile, the average wind pressures of the building surfaces in the corridor area are closely related to the wind directions. When the wind direction angle changes, the wind pressure values of some measuring points show obvious abrupt change, which brings challenges to the wind resistance design of the structure.
