Research on Energy-Saving Optimization of Bamboo Plaiting Mudwalls:A Case of a Living Room in Dazu District of Chongqing
In the context of"beautiful countryside"and"sustainable development",the ecological value of traditional materials has become increasingly prominent.Under the traditional low-tech construction strategy, the energy-saving optimization of the walls will contribute to the realization of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. The paper takes the bamboo plaiting mudwall as an example, and improves the energy-saving effect of the wall through soil modification and structural optimization.Based on the PKPM-Energy building energy consumption simulation tool, the project sets the parameters as a living room with air conditioning and heating in Dazu District,Chongqing, and simulates the energy consumption of five wall samples including two modified walls. It is found that the improved wall with air layer and external thermal insulation layer has the best energy-saving effect, which can save 382.15kW·h per year compared with energy-saving fired hollow bricks.
