Economic Analysis on Ice Storage Air Conditioning System in a Commercial Building
Combined with an engineering example,from the perspective of static investment recovery,the feasibility of applying ice storage air conditioning system in a large commercial building is analyzed.Through comparison with conventional air conditioning system,it can be found that compared with the conventional air conditioning system,the ice storage air conditioning system increases initial investment by about 30%.By storing the cold energy during the low period of electricity use and releasing the cold energy during the daytime peak electricity consumption,the ice storage air conditioning system fully gives play to the advantage of shifting peak to fill valley.At the same time,the ice storage air conditioning system greatly reduce the operation cost(the annual electricity cost saved is about ¥726,000).The static investment payback period is 4.4 years.The ice storage air conditioning system can effectively reduce the operating expenses of the management units,especially in the areas with high peak valley electricity price ratio.
