Since the end of the last century,the growth of the urban rail transit in Chinese cities has rapidly accelerated.Under the requirements of promoting the integrated development of rail transit and cities,realizing intensive utilization of land,and strengthening the guarantee of rail construction and operating funds,large cities have vigorously promoted the comprehensive development of rail transit and its surrounding land.This paper combs the practical experience of Guangzhou,Shenzhen,and Shanghai in the comprehensive development of rail transit,summarizes their innovations in policy,development processes,investment and financing models,etc.,and highlights the important role of policy guidance and top-level design,and eventually explores the implementation path for comprehensive development of rail transit hubs in megacities.
