Green equity primarily concerns the fairness of various urban green public open spaces for user groups. As the most vibrant regions within a city, the research on green equity in waterfront spaces remains underexplored. This paper focuses on a waterfront area along the eastern bank of the Huangpu River, which is approximately 3 km in length. By employing methods such as word frequency analysis, semantic segmentation, questionnaire surveys, and in-depth interviews, the paper investigates environmental provisions and perceived expectations from the perspectives of pedestrians and cyclists. Subsequently, fairness coefficients for different user groups are calculated. The research findings indicate that, through methods such as plazas and diversion, the site effectively reconciles the conflicts between pedestrians and cyclists. However,in terms of safety, continuity, and experiential aspects,it shows a stronger preference for pedestrians. Therefore,it is recommended to focus on the design and compensation for the needs of cyclists, aiming to enhance overall equity.
