Research on Barrier-Free Design Strategy of the External Public Space in Old Community
Community public space is an important material basis and space carrier of social relations among residents.With the public's attention to the construction of a barrier-free environment,under the background of multiple realities,there are many contradictions or problems in the external public space of the old community that need to be resolved urgently.This paper analyzes the current situation of the external public space in old communities in our country.Based on the principle of space environment design through sensory compensation,it discusses the strategies for the optimization of barrier-free external public space in old communities from the aspects of traffic accessibility,social barrier-free,and sensory barrier-free.
