Urban image plays a crucial role in the development and image building of a city.Based on semantic analysis techniques,the ancient and modern text data are collected as the main data for a comparative study on the urban image of Suzhou from the ancient times to the present.By conducting a cluster analysis on the main features and images of the ancient and modern Suzhou city,it reveals the causes and influencing factors of urban image formation.Furthermore,it study analyzes the differences between the ancient and modern urban images of Suzhou,and explores the influence and continuity of the ancient urban image on modern Suzhou,including urban planning and architectural style,cultural inheritance,urban image construction,and residents'lives and community environment,with a view to provide useful references for the future urban space development of Suzhou.
