Our country is promoting the creation of child-friendly cities and communities.In this context,Chongqing is exploring the planning of a child-friendly city with regional characteristics.This paper combines the research foundation and construction experience of child-friendly cities and communities at home and abroad.The author,as a community planner and university researcher,proposes planning guidelines for a child-friendly city and communities in Chongqing downtown from three aspects:service space,activity space,and travel space.Based on the requirements of the three-level planning guidelines,it provides a referable path for scientifically and orderly promoting the work related to the child-friendly.
