Exploration on the Design of Medical Care Buildings Based on"In-situ":A Case of Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Family Healthcare Service Industrial Park
With the development of the health industry, medical care buildings have been constructed rapidly like bamboo shoots after a spring rain in different places. However, due to limitations such as land use, cost, and construction period, the buildings and environment are often neglected, and the architectural design lacks regional features. In response to and resist against the erosion of regional characteristics by modernism globalization,"in-situ"has been widely inherited, but there has been little discussion on the"in-situ"design of coastal medical care buildings. How to pay attention to the building and the place and return to the"people-oriented"essence of medical care buildings in the wave of medical construction has become an urgent issue to be explored.Based on the"in-situ"theory,the paper summarizes that the design of medical care buildings should"create the spirit of place","inherit the regional cultural context","highlight the humanistic attributes"and"illustrate the style of the era".Taking Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Family Healthcare Service Industrial Park as an example, the paper studies the inherent connection between the architecture and place, and then starting from the site elements, explores the design for coastal small and medium-sized medical care buildings from the perspectives of the integration of architecture and environment, open and shared space, organization of the architectural form, and adaptation to coastal climate.
