Exploration on the Modal Identification Methods for Engineering Structures Based on Monitoring Data
With the acceleration of urbanization, the coupling among urban functions is getting closer. As the main carrier of the city, the operation and maintenance of engineering structures(e.g.,buildings,bridges,etc.)have an important impact on urban functions, and their service safety has attracted extensive attention from the scholars.By arranging sensors on engineering structures, sensing, collecting, transmitting and processing multiple data has become an important means to guarantee the safety of structures.Real-time monitoring generates a substantial amount of data, and how to carry out structural condition identification and damage assessment with monitoring data is one of the key scientific issues.Based on the monitoring data, the paper analyzes the existing structural modal identification methods for single buildings(including traditional modal identification methods and machine learning-based modal identification methods),then proposes the idea of structural condition identification for urban building clusters, and prospects the future development trend of structural modal identification.
