In the 14th Five-Year Plan,it clearly puts forward to"implement the urban renewal action".Urban reduction development,urban organic renewal,and building reconstruction projects have become the trend of urban construction.The reconstruction project of Beijing Yuexucheng Shopping Center has responded positively to the government's call,and solved the problems in the positioning of the original business format that was not in line with regional economic development and idle of the building caused by poor management.By means of market investigation,economic calculation,and change in the positioning of business format,it has endowed the building with new life through a series of renewal design methods,including improving the functional space,reshaping the architectural image,and upgrading the landscape environment,etc.,so that the building has a new look,has higher economic and social value,and adds highlights to the cityscape.
