The Application of the Combination of Permanent and Temporary Roads in the EPC Projects
With the rapid economic development and continuous management improvement of the construction industry in our country,the engineering procurement construction(EPC)model has gradually become the mainstream mode of the current engineering project management.This model can effectively solve conflicts and contradictions in project design,procurement,construction,trial operation,and other stages,shorten the cycle,reduce costs,and improve the efficiency.A factory project in Xiamen has a relatively large overall land area and a large individual building area,and a tight construction period.If the traditional construction method is adopted,the construction of temporary roads not only has a long construction period and high costs,but also generates a large amount of construction waste in the later demolition of the roads,which does not meet the requirements of environment and green construction.The project adopts EPC management model,and combines the temporary roads and permanent roads in the design stage,which has good economic and environmental benefits and a shortened construction period,achieving the expected goal.
