Study on Reinforced Method for Increasing the Cross-Section of the Basement Roof Beams Support without Excavating the Covering Soil
In order to reduce the construction difficulty, cost, construction duration and water seepage risk of positive section bearing capacity reinforcement of beam supports in basement roof beams, this paper analyzes three increased section reinforcement forms that do not involve the construction of the top of the beams to increase beam width. It is found that the three reinforcement forms have a greater increase in the positive section bearing capacity of the beam supports, and the increase is the greatest in the consideration of the redistribution of the plastic internal force after the addition of longitudinal reinforcement to the bottom of the beams, and there are some bearing capacity enhancements in the way of increasing negative reinforcement at the bottom of the slabs in comparison to the method of not adding steel bars at the bottom of the slab.
