Low-temperature environment,a special battlefield environment different from the normal temper-ature environment,requires different strategies for injury progression,assessment,and treatment.This review illus-trates the impact of a low-temperature environment on the human body,and the mechanism,outcomes and classifica-tion of traumatic hypothermia.At the same time,the cold damage caused by exposure to a low-temperature environ-ment and the adverse effect on trauma care were analyzed and discussed.Temperature management principles,risk factor identification and monitoring,as well as prevention & control measures were analyzed in detail.All of the a-nalysis aims to guide the front-line personnel to standardize the treatment procedures,refine the rapid and effective assessment and treatment in a low-temperature environment,and thus improve the overall level of pre-hospital war trauma care.
