Research progress on optimizing radiological examination strategies to reduce radiation exposure in trauma patients
Multiple radiological examinations have been conducted during the management of trauma pa-tients,leading to a high dose of ionizing radiation exposure in a very short period, which increases the risk of develo-ping malignant tumor.A systematic review of the latest literature on radiological examinations, irradiation parameter setting, and ionizing radiation protective measures for trauma patients has been carried out.The purpose of this study is to improve clinicians' awareness of radiation risk and optimize the radiology examination scheme, urge radiologists to adopt a low-dose scanning strategy and assist patients to wear protective clothing, reduce the iatrogenic radiation exposure of the wounded and reduce ionizing radiation injury.
