Mechanism of liver injuries secondary to hemorrhagic shock after trauma
In recent years, with the frequent occurrence of conflicts, disasters, road traffic accidents, and falls from height, the incidence of hemorrhagic shock after trauma is common in clinical practice, with a risen number of patients.Hemorrhagic shock after trauma can lead to secondary injuries of various organs, among which liver injury is the most common type. The mechanisms of liver injuries secondary to trauma-related hemorrhagic shock involve endoplasmic reticulum stress, liver fibrosis, mitochondrial damage, oxidative stress, and inflammatory response, which are reviewed here based on related literature so as to provide theoritical basis for further research.
