The trauma care system has achieved great success in China in recent years.The Trauma Center of Huizhou First Hospital has established an integrated trauma care system of"pre-hospital care,in-hospital emer-gency resuscitation,damage control surgery,severe trauma management and trauma rehabilitation".Via regular retro-spective inspection of trauma care practice and the construction of a trauma database,the trauma center is developed in high quality.Moreover,the standardized treatment and continuous improvement of trauma care skills resulted in a very low mortality rate of 4.88％for severe trauma cases in our center.At the same time,we organized"Primary Trauma Life Support Training Courses in Huizhou"and"Standardized Treatment Training Courses for Severe Trau-ma in Huizhou"to promote our standard care system to grassroots hospitals in this area,which greatly improved the comprehensive care capacity for severe trauma cases in Huizhou.In this article,our care system for severe trauma ca-ses and training practices were introduced and shared.
