Preservation and Renewal of Traditional Villages in Southwest China from the Perspective of Adaptive Design
Adaptive design is an important way to cope with changes in the natural environment and the impact of human activities and to achieve sustainable development.This paper summarizes the evolution of ideas on adaptive design and proposes a research framework for adaptive design.By summarizing the characteristics of traditional villages in Southwest China and their current development challenges,this paper constructs a research framework for the preservation and renewal of traditional villages in Southwest China from the adaptive perspective.Taking Qingjiang Village in Guizhou Province as an example,a plan for the protection and renewal of traditional villages from the adaptive design perspective is proposed.Finally,it is proposed that traditional villages should establish multi-scale and multi-dimensional dynamic adaptive design and strengthen the adaptive design for practical application in the future.
