Research on the Evolution of Inter-City Association Pattern in the Yangtze River Delta from 2005 to 2019 Based on Firm Investment and Financing Relationship
The connection between firms breaks through the limitations of industry and subor-dination,and can more comprehensively and accurately describe inter-city linkages. However, due to the limitations of data sources and technical methods, there is a lack of empirical research on the relationship pattern between cities based on the real connection between enterprises in a long time series.Practical issues such as regional integration and central cities'upgrading urgently need the support of big data analysis.Following the idea of"node-path-community",this paper uses the total equity relationship between enterprises to study the temporal and spatial pattern and evolution process of cities'linkages in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)from 2005 to 2019.The results show that YRD is currently in the middle stage from local integration to global integration,a dense and multi-core urban network with the connection between Shanghai and the provincial capital/sub-provincial cities as the stable skeleton is taking shape;Shanghai's radiating and driving effect on the whole region goes beyond the administrative boundary, and Anhui is a"short board"that needs to be supplemented urgently in the integration of the YRD;The economic traces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Anhui administrative regions are still prominent.Nanjing has obvious functional heterogeneity and can use the identity of"chain shareholder"to promote cross-border ties in the central and western regions of the YRD.
