FeSiAl magnetic powder cores were prepared by using polyvinyl butyral(PVB),epoxy resin(ER)and silicone resin(SI)as insulation binders,respectively.The effects of insulation binder types on the microstructure and electromagnetic properties of FeSiAl magnetic powder cores were analyzed.The results show that,at 2 wt%,FeSiAl@SI brings about higher initial permeability(μi),lower power loss(Pcv)and smoother surface than the other two.Based on the test results of the relationship between power loss and frequency at high frequency,the least squares method is used for curve fitting.The influence factor of magnetic induction intensity(m)of FeSiAl magnetic powder core is about 3.0,and the frequency influence factor(n)is about 1.5.The composite coating of PVB and ER with SI can reduce the total coating amount of non-magnetic binder and improve the magnetic permeability of FeSiAl magnetic powder core.The sample coated with 0.5 wt%PVB and 0.5 wt%SI binder has better comprehensive performance.At room temperature,theμiis 73.4,the Pcv is 63.9 mW/cm3(50 kHz/50 mT),and specific saturation magnetization(σs)is 141.1 emu/g.
