Calculation and design of electromagnetic field for novel magnetic control of contact shoes in tramway
An examination of the operational challenges within the current urban tram ground power supply system in the country is conducted. This involves the design of a novel, adjustable magnetic field system along with auxiliary electromagnetic coils.Additionally,a novel model for electromagnetic control pantographs is established. The process includes magnetic field analysis based on the model, preparation of prototype principles, and experimental validation.Performance testing of the prototype reveals that the attractive force and magnetic induction intensity provided by the new magnetic control pantograph align with the operational conditions of intelligent power electronic modules.Furthermore, the heating of the coils meets the specified application requirements. The application of the innovative electromagnetic auxiliary system effectively resolves issues such as drag and wear in the prototype ground power supply system, presenting a novel approach for the design of an advanced ground power supply system for urban trams.
