Contrast research on the properties of iron-silicon-chromium(FeSiCr)powder cores prepared by cold and hot pressing
The effect of hot and cold pressing process on the magnetic properties of the magnetic powder core was studied by using water-atomized high-performance spherical Fe-Si-Cr alloy powder, which was pelleted by mixed resin and pressed into magnetic ring by servo press. The reliability test was carried out by"double 85"test and salt spray test, and the influence of pressing process on the strength of magnetic powder core was investigated by universal testing machine. The results show that the hot pressed magnetic powder core has higher density, permeability, strength and lower loss, and the cold pressed magnetic powder core has better DC bias characteristics and better rust prevention performance.
