Adherence and Innovation of Material Mechanics Teaching under the Background of New Engineering
This paper discusses the problems of integrity and innovation in the teaching of mechanics of materials under the background of new engineering. It holds that integrity and innovation are two important aspects of the teaching reform of mechanics of materials, which complement each other and cannot be ignored. Adherence refers to adhering to the basic theory and method of material mechanice, ensure the basic teaching quality and level, and cultivate students'professional foundation and engineering literacy. Innovation refers to the reform and optimization of teaching content, methods, forms and means according to the talent training objectives and social needs of new engineering, so as to cultivate students'innovative consciousness and ability. The author expounds the principle of integrity in the teaching of materials mechanics from the aspects of curriculum orientation, basic theory, basic method and teaching values, and expounds the innovation measures in the teaching of materials mechanics from the aspects of teaching content, teaching method, experiment teaching, assessment method and goal, and analyzes the dialec-tical unity relationship between integrity and innovation, pointing out that only on the basis of integrity can effective innovation be carried out. In the process of innovation can we continue to improve and develop integrity.
