"Internet + education"has provided a new path for public management majors to cultivate managerial and technical talents under the new liberal arts background. In order to better promote the informationization reform process of public management major and improve the quality of talent cultivation, this paper analyzes the main problems that exist in the talent cultivation process of public management major in the information age from the aspects of curriculum design, teaching methods, teaching team, innovation environment, etc., and proposes targeted improvement paths. The results could provide reference for the innovation of the informationization talent cultivation mode of public management major and promoting the informationization reform of public management education.
