Experiment Teaching Exploration of Prosthodontics Based on Virtual Reality Technology
Objective To evaluate the application effect of medical education mode based on virtual reality technology in laboratory course of prosthodontics. Methods undergraduates from 2022 to 2023 in College of Stomatology, Guangxi Medical University were selected and divided into experimental group and control group. In the laboratory course of prosthodontics of 25 students in each group, the application of medical education model based on virtual reality technology was compared with the traditional teaching method. By comparing the operation skills and theoretical achievements of the students in the experimental group and the control group, and conducting a questionnaire survey, the evaluation of the students in the experimental group on the virtual reality technology in teaching is evaluated. Results the scores of the students in the experimental group were signifi-cantly higher than those of the students in the control group. Conclusion The application of virtual reality technology in laboratory course of prosthodontics can not only improve the students'satisfaction with the teaching, but also help to improve the students' operation level, ability to lparn theoretical knowledge.
