Empirical Study on the Employment and Professional Correlation of Engineering Graduates from Local Undergraduate Colleges and Universities
The correlation between graduate employment and majors has become an important factor influencing high-quality employment.This article uses the employment survey data of 2023 graduates from a local undergraduate university to explore the influencing factors and degree of correlation between the employment and professional relevance of four engineering majors in the university through correlation testing and linear regression analysis.Through data analysis,the correlation between employment and major of engineering graduates in this university has decreased from 77.06%in 2021 to 68.65%in 2023.Research has found that three types of variables,namely personal situation,professional situation,and work situation,have varying degrees of impact on the correlation between employment and major of graduates.
