Application of OBE Concept and Blended Learning in Medical Statistics
Objective To explore the application and effectiveness of blended learning under the guidance of results oriented education(OBE)concept in the teaching of medical statistics.Method Select students from Class 1-4 of the 2021 clinical medicine undergraduate program as the research subjects.Among them,60 students from Class 1 and Class 2 are the control group, using traditional teaching methods; The experimental group consists of 60 students from Class 3 and Class 4,using blended learning based on the OBE concept. After the teaching, conduct theoretical and experimental assessments,as well as a satis-faction survey comparison between the two groups of students.Result Through comparing the two groups of students,it was found that the theoretical and experimental operation scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There is also a statistical difference in the satisfaction evaluation of the two teaching methods(P<0.05).Conclusion Under the guidance of the OBE concept, the blended learning method is more effective than traditional teaching methods in the teaching of medical statistics.
