Exploration and Research on the Construction of New Engineering Teaching Staff in Local Application-Oriented Undergraduate University
The teaching characteristics of the new engineering major were introduced and the current situation of the new engineering teaching staff were analyzed regarding the construction of a new engineering teaching staff in this paper.Three major goals for the construction of the teaching staff of the new engineering major have been proposed based on the characteristics of the new engineering major.The strategies and methods for building a new engineering professional teacher team were pointed out from five aspects:strengthening teacher training,optimizing the teacher title evaluation system,introducing high-level talents,promoting joint training of local teacher teams and strengthening practical teaching.A performance evaluation system and feedback adjustment method for the construction of teaching staff in new engineering majors have been proposed based on the demand for teaching staff in new engineering majors.The exploration and practice of building a teaching staff for new engineering majors provide theoretical guidance for ensuring the quality of new engineering education and further promoting the development of new engineering majors in application-oriented undergraduate universities.
