Research and Application of the Case-Based Learning in the Course of Foundation Engineering under OBE Concept
Foundation engineering is the core basic course of civil engineering and other majors.An important characteristic of the course is the large number of engineering cases,resulting in the traditional lecture method has low enthusiasm of students and poor effect,which is difficult to meet the requirements of OBE(Outcome-Based Education)concept.Based on the training objectives of engineering education professional certification and the current teaching situation of the course,this paper estab-lishes the case-based learning mode under the OBE concept from the aspects of teaching ideas,case base design and teaching process.The practice shows that the case method can effectively improve students'subjective initiative and the quality of classroom teaching,and has achieved a good teaching effect.
