Exploring the Construction of Integrated English Ⅰ Course in the Context of First-Class Undergraduate Curriculum Construction
With the continuous development of higher education,the construction of first-class undergraduate curriculum has become one of the important initiatives to promote high-quality education.Among them,comprehensive English Ⅰ,as one of the discipline-based courses in undergraduate teaching of English majors,plays an important role in the construction of first-class undergraduate courses.Firstly,the objectives and importance of first-class undergraduate curriculum construction are clarified so that students can have a deep understanding and mastery of their professional field knowledge;secondly,the overview of compre-hensive English Ⅰ course and the problems to be solved are analysed to provide guidance and direction for the further construction of the course;thirdly,the impact of first-class undergraduate curriculum construction on comprehensive English Ⅰ course is dissected to assess the changes that first-class undergraduate curriculum construction has brought to comprehensive English Ⅰ course;lastly,the impact of first-class undergraduate curriculum construction on comprehensive English Ⅰ course is evaluated.Finally,it proposes specific measures for the construction of comprehensive English Ⅰ course by transforming the course content,building a high-ranking faculty and creating an English second classroom,aiming to promote the improvement of the teaching quality of comprehensive English Ⅰ course.
