Exploration of Teaching Methods for Basic Programming Course in Geographic Information Science Specialty
The basic programming course is a very important course that supports the cultivation of talent training of geographic information science specialty, with characteristics such as strong memory and heavy thinking. However, there are currently problems for students in the teaching of the course, such as weak grammar memory, frequent errors in details,insuffi-cient programming thinking, and gaps in talent needs. This article proposes a"three stages"teaching method based on the current teaching situation, focusing on the content of structured programming,object-oriented programming and visual programming, and discusses the addition of handwriting programs in classroom in"1st stage",the design of computer experiments in"2st stage",and the comprehensive training in after-class in"3st stage"in order to improve the teaching effectiveness of the course.
