Research on Enhancing Innovation Ability of College Nursing Students——Taking Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities as an Example
Objective Investigate the current situation of innovation among nursing students at Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities,analyze the factors that hinder the formation of innovation among nursing students,and explore solutions.Method A survey was conducted on 201 nursing students at the School of Nursing,Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities,using the Eugene Creativity Test Scale.The survey also investigated the publication of nursing papers,research progress,and research awards of nursing students.Result The innovation score of 201 nursing students at Youjiang Medical University for National-ities is (51.77±9.156),with 66 nursing students (32.8%) having strong creativity and 135 students (67.1%) generally scoring.The research results show that grade is the main factor affecting the innovation ability of nursing students.Nursing students have published 49 papers,including 34 for undergraduate students and 15 for vocational students.74.1% of nursing students have participated in research projects,and 70.1% of nursing students have won awards in scientific research on campus.Conclusion The critical thinking ability of nursing students at Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities is weak,and their ability to discover problems is not strong.Therefore,it is necessary to innovate educational concepts,build and improve innovative education mechanisms for nursing professional directions,and fully cultivate the ability and innovative thinking of nursing students to discover problems.
