Exploration of Blended Learning Mode in Applied Undergraduate Major Course—Take Principles and Applications of Luminescent Materials Course as an Example
The principles and applications of luminescent materialsis a significant undergraduate major course that covers the fundamental principles of luminescent materials and their practical applications. This course is theoretical, comprehensive, and relevant to engineering. As a result, relying solely on traditional teaching methods poses challenges for students bridging the gap between the knowledge and practice.Additionally,it lacks hands-on experience and opportunities, which hinder a genuine under-standing and mastery of the practical applications of luminescent materials. To address these issues,we propose the integration of a blended learning approach in the classroom.By combining online virtual simulations,in-person theoretical lectures, and practical laboratory sessions, students will develop a deep understanding of the link between theoretical knowledge and real-world applica-tions.This approach aims to simulate active thinking, and enhance problem-solving skills.
