Exploration and Practice of the Construction of New Liberal Arts Virtual Teaching and Research Departments—Case of the Virtual Department of Cultural Differences and Intercultural Communication
This article explores the practical experience of cultural differences and cross-cultural communication virtual teaching and research rooms in the context of the development of digital education,taking the construction of new liberal arts as an opportunity.Taking Prospect College as the pilot,the teaching and research section integrates anthropology,sociology,culture,communication,linguistics,psychology and other disciplines through the linkage of the three schools,and builds an interdisci-plinary teaching team.Relying on the online and offline platforms,it promotes the innovation and implementation of cross-cul-tural communication courses.Through four rounds of practice and the"five-step method",the whole elements of the course are upgraded,so that the course moves from foreign language to general knowledge and is widely applicable to learners with different subject backgrounds.
