The Connotation and Practical Exploration of Concentrated Contiguous Protection and Utilization of Traditional Villages:Taking Liancheng County and Yongding District in Longyan City,Fujian Province as Examples
Traditional villages are precious agricultural civilization heritage and lively rural settlements. How to achieve sustainable protection and utilization of traditional villages is an important research topic at present. In the context of the end of agricultural civilization era and the acceleration of urbanization,this article proposes that the core idea of traditional village protection should shift from strengthening "sound protection list and clarifying the foundation" to strengthening "connecting villages into a clustering area and promoting protection through use". Through in-depth analysis of the core connotation and countermeasures of the concentrated contiguous protection and utilization of traditional villages,this article takes the planning projects in Liancheng and Yongding in Fujian Province as examples,explores the protection and utilization models of traditional villages such as the "linked area layout" model in Liancheng County and the "cross-village joint construction of Tulou clusters" model in Yongding District,as well as the implementation paths of "promoting protection through use" such as the leaders of rural construction in Liancheng County leading the joint creation and the construction of "Tulou cultural bank" in Yongding District. This article actively explores the protection and sustainable utilization of traditional villages at the county level under the general layout of urban-rural integration development.
