The planning concept of rural community living circle has been embedded in the territorial spatial planning system. However, due to the significant differences in the distribution characteristics of people, land, and resources in rural areas compared to the homogeneous form of urban areas, under the background of territorial spatial planning, the planning of rural community living circle still faces problems such as diversified demand structure of villagers, undefined spatial scope of living circle, difficulty in implementing facility configuration guidance, and unclear connection paths. This article proposes a planning practice idea of "demand exploration-spatial planning-facility guidance-planning connection". Using Lufeng City in Guangdong Province as a typical case, the study samples the characteristics of villagers' utilization of public service facilities, defines the physical scope of rural community life circle, proposes facility configuration guidelines of "essential allocation, improvement allocation, and distinctive customization",and explores the integration paths with overall planning and detailed planning,in order to provide reference for the planning and practice of rural community life circle.
