Research on the Design Strategy for Improving the Green View Ratio of Streets in Dali Ancient City Based on Multi-year Street View Images
This study uses green view ratio(GVR)as an evaluation indicator to explore how to increase the green view ratio of streets and public spaces, enhancing the urban ecological environment,as well as the mental health and quality of life of residents.Dali Ancient City in Yunnan Province is selected as the research area to analyze the current status and trends of GVR in the ancient city, investigate the influencing factors of GVR,and propose optimization strategies. The article employs a quantitative analysis approach, conducting a comparative evaluation of the street GVR in Dali Ancient City in 2016 and 2020.Utilizing deep learning-based fully convolutional network technology, the study semantically segments trees, grass, and other vegetation in street view images to accurately quantify the GVR.The study indicates a decline in the average GVR of streets in Dali Ancient City from 2016 to 2020,suggesting that the greenery level has not reached the expected targets.Further comparative analysis reveals the impact of street width, greening forms, and architectural features on the GVR.In light of the specific context of Dali Ancient City,a series of greening improvement measures are proposed, expected to effectively enhance the urban GVR and enrich the ecological environment and cultural identity of the city.
