Study on Identification and Planning Strategies for Key Areas of Ecological Restoration Based on Ecological Networks:A Case Study of Wuzhong,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region
Quantitative identification of key areas for ecological restoration in territorial spatiality is a prerequisite and guarantee for targeted implementation of territorial spatial ecological restoration and the construction of ecological security pattern.Taking Wuzhong,Ningxia Hui Autonomous region as an example, this article identifies key areas for ecological restoration, including regional ecological pinch points, ecological rupture points, damaged ecological corridors, and ecological restoration obstacle areas, based on the perspective of ecological networks. The research adopts a combined"top-down"and"bottom-up"approach.The results indicate that:There are 23 ecological source areas in Wuzhong, which are generally grouped into 8 spatial clusters, with a total area of 2 551.58 km2,accounting for 15.09%of the entire area of Wuzhong City;A total of 9 ecological obstacle nodes,14 corridors for restoration, with a total length of 395.2 km,and 460 ecological restoration obstacle areas, with a total area of 334.77 km2,are extracted.Based on the perspective of"points, lines, and surfaces",this article proposes adjustment and optimization strategies for the ecological network layout in Wuzhong.
