Research on the Relationship between Job and Housing and Commuting Characteristics in Development Zones Based on Multisource Data:Taking Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone in Nanjing as an Example
Against the backdrop of China's high-quality urbanization and industrialization, industrial upgrading and optimization of living and working spaces in development zones have become strategic objectives. However, many development zones face challenges such as inefficient industrial space organization,job-housing imbalance, and limited space for further development due to the prolonged extensive development models, thus constraining their sustainable growth.Balancing the living and working spaces is crucial to promoting the healthy development of these zones. This paper uses the Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone in Nanjing as a case study, analyzing the current situation and problems of living and working spaces at both the zone-wide and specific industrial unit levels based on diverse data sources, including mobile signaling data, surveys, and statistical data.By categorizing different types of living and working units, the research proposes comprehensive strategies for balancing these spaces.
