Art education has multiple impacts on students'academic development.Based on the 2021 monitoring of the quality of primary and secondary education in Huainan,Anhui Province,a multi-layer linear model was used to analyze the impact of aesthetic education on the academic achievement of junior high school students.The research results showed that there is a certain correlation between aesthetic education and the academic achievement of junior high school students.Firstly,aesthetic education practice significantly improved the Chinese and mathematical literacy of junior high school students,but had no significant impact on their Chinese and mathematical grades.Secondly,the effectiveness of aesthetic education has significantly improved the Chinese and mathematical literacy of the students,but has reduced their Chinese and mathematical grades.Thirdly,self-management of aesthetic education has significantly improved their Chinese and mathematical literacy,and enhanced the Chinese and mathematical grades.Based on empirical research results,it is recommended to enhance the effectiveness of aesthetic education by establishing a collaborative education mechanism,implementing aesthetic education practices both inside and outside the classroom,creating aesthetic education spaces,and allocating educational resources.
